About our Bilingual
Audio Books
While we only promote these five stories on this part of our site, all of
the stories are available in English and German.
These five, however, have been translated most
closely to the English originals. The other German
versions of our stories, which you will find on the
German-language version of our website, have been
translated more freely, that is, the sentence
structure and words used differ more strongly than
for the audio books on this page
When you order either of the CDs you will receive
another CD with exactly the same stories in German.
In addition to this, we have also created a
bilingual English-German read-along text document. You
will be able to download the PDF file containing the
read-along text online.
The
idea is that these stories will be of help to any
child learning to speak and read German or
visa-versa. As far as we know,
we are the only company offering CDs in this format.
